Value of the Arts
CAP Academy is centered on the teaching of Art Enrichment; supplemented by quality instruction, arts’ collaborations, positive mentorship and intensive etiquette training.
Learning in the arts encourages the development of cognitive and creative abilities that help students achieve academically and contribute to their communities. The study of fine arts is important to the basic education of all students.
The intent of the fine arts standards is to ensure that students experience, understand and value the arts in their everyday lives as contributing citizens of a diverse society.
